Getting started
Do I need to register to mine? +
No registration is required. Simply point your miner at the stratum server with your wallet address as the username. Your first submitted share will automatically register you with the pool. You can track your stats on the Dashboard page by entering your wallet address.
What is the pool fee? +
The Satoshi Pool charges a 0% fee on all coins and both mining modes (SOLO and PPLNS). Every coin you mine goes directly to your wallet. The pool is funded through AdSense advertising displayed on this website.
What hardware do I need? +
All coins on this pool use the SHA-256 algorithm, which is the same algorithm as Bitcoin. This means any SHA-256 ASIC miner (Antminer S9, S19, Whatsminer, etc.) can be used. We also support NerdMiner and other low-hashrate devices on special low-difficulty ports — see the Connect page for details.
Which coins can I mine? +
We currently support 8 SHA-256 coins: DigiByte (DGB), Cheetahcoin (CHTA), Briskcoin (BKC), Rebelcoin (RBL), Bitcoin Silver (BTCS), Bitcoin II (BC2), Aurum Crypto Gold (ACG), and Litecoin Cash (LCC). Each coin is available in both SOLO and PPLNS mode.
Mining modes
What is the difference between SOLO and PPLNS? +
SOLO mining means you mine independently. If your miner finds a block, you receive 100% of the block reward. If you don't find a block, you earn nothing. This mode is best for miners with significant hashrate.

PPLNS (Pay Per Last N Shares) means all miners in the pool contribute to finding blocks and share the reward proportionally to the shares they submitted in the last N shares window. This provides more consistent earnings and is better for smaller miners.
How does PPLNS work exactly? +
PPLNS considers the last N shares (where N = network difficulty × 2) when calculating rewards. When a block is found, the reward is distributed among all miners who submitted shares in this window, proportional to their contribution. This system discourages "pool hopping" and rewards loyal miners. The longer you mine consistently, the more shares you accumulate in the window and the higher your reward.
Which mode should I choose? +
It depends on your hashrate. If you have enough hashrate to find blocks regularly on your own (check the network difficulty vs your hashrate), SOLO can be very profitable. If your hashrate is a small fraction of the network, PPLNS will give you more predictable earnings. You can run the same hardware on both modes simultaneously using different ports.
Payments
When will I get paid? +
Payouts are processed automatically every 10 minutes. However, you won't see a balance until the pool finds a block AND the block reaches maturity (typically a few hours depending on the coin). Once a block matures, your share of the reward is calculated and credited to your pending balance. When your pending balance reaches or exceeds the minimum payout threshold, the full amount is sent to your wallet automatically.
What is the minimum payout? +
Minimum payouts vary by coin. Most coins have a minimum of 0.01, except Litecoin Cash which requires 5 LCC minimum. You can check the exact minimum for each coin in the Pool Info section of the Dashboard page. There is no maximum — your entire balance is paid out each time you exceed the minimum.
Why is my hashrate showing zero or different from my miner? +
Pool hashrate is recalculated every 10 minutes based on submitted shares. It can take up to 10 minutes after you start mining for your hashrate to appear. The value shown is an approximation based on shares and may differ from your local miner display — always trust your miner's local reading for the most accurate figure.
What is "pool effort"? +
Pool effort shows how much work the pool has done relative to the expected work to find a block. An effort below 100% means you found a block faster than expected (lucky!). Above 100% means it took longer than average (unlucky, but it balances out over time). This is normal variance in mining.
Technical
What software does this pool run on? +
The pool backend is powered by Miningcore, a high-performance open-source mining pool engine. It supports automatic payments, VarDiff (variable difficulty adjustment), and all major mining protocols. The pool is hosted on IONOS infrastructure for reliability.
What is VarDiff? +
VarDiff (Variable Difficulty) automatically adjusts the share difficulty for each connected miner based on their hashrate. This ensures miners submit shares at a consistent rate (targeting one share every 15 seconds) regardless of their hardware. This improves efficiency and ensures everyone from NerdMiners to large ASICs can mine effectively.
How do I use a worker name? +
To identify multiple rigs separately in the Dashboard, append a dot and a worker name to your wallet address: YourWalletAddress.rig01. All workers using the same wallet address will be grouped together and their hashrates shown individually in the Workers tab.
